Description: Lely’s new facility blends manufacturing and professional spaces. Designed with a “Destination Experience” in mind, the office reflects a post-COVID approach, emphasizing choice and control in workspaces. Modern workstations, open and private collaboration areas, and unique furnishings contribute to a comfortable and inviting environment. The design incorporates earthy, natural tones and textures that complement the minimalist style reflective of the Netherlands, where the Lely home office is located.
Achievements: The Workspace team secured the Lely project through a demonstration of trust, expertise, and passion. The Workspace lead designer effectively connected with the client contact at Lely, resulting in the project being recognized as one of Workspace’s most unique and creative designs. It showcases a diverse array of the Steelcase + Partners product portfolio. The overarching goal of the project is to align design and furniture concepts with Lely’s internal objective of “One Lely,” ensuring that every employee, regardless of their role, feels appreciated and accommodated within the company’s structure.

Location: West Des Moines, Iowa
Project Size: 84,000 sq ft
Description: The four-story building spans over 73,000 square feet, including an 11,000 square-foot outdoor patio. The first-floor houses training rooms, a spacious cafeteria, workout areas, showers, and mother’s rooms. The second floor is dedicated primarily to customer interactions, with a lobby, private meeting areas, over 30 private offices, breakout spaces, and conference rooms. On the third floor, you’ll find departmental neighborhoods with workstations, private offices, collaboration spaces, and additional conference rooms. The fourth floor is tailored for relationship-building and events, offering a spacious boardroom, a great room with a dual-view fireplace, two golf simulators, a wraparound patio on the south and east sides, and a suite of executive offices.
Achievements: Half of the building’s exterior is glass, while the other half features a dark natural stone called aqua granite. Such meticulous detailing and elevated finishes are rare in modern buildings, and this approach was instrumental in achieving West Bank’s vision of creating a showpiece that reflects pride in both their company and the community. The goal was to design a space that not only celebrates West Bank but also serves as a point of pride for the entire community.

Project Size: 16,000 sq ft
Description: Shive-Hattery expanded its office across two floors, incorporating open collaboration spaces, conference rooms, and 56 workstations. The new design features low panels with glass to maintain a light and open feel, height-adjustable desks with storage on the return, and high-density storage on the outside of desks for added privacy. This project also included one of our first orders for Karman chairs.
Achievements: We were thrilled to work with Shive-Hattery on their office expansion project. Having designed their original space in 2013, we provided new collaborative areas and new workstations in the new addition. The new workstations included new enhancements to support the team that would occupy the space, while still using elements from the previous solution, so future reconfigurations could be seamless.

The client’s primary objective was to design a space where employees could both collaborate and find privacy, creating a beautiful environment to call home. Emphasizing employee retention and fostering a strong company culture was particularly important in their small community. The total furnished area spanned approximately 8,000 square feet.
Achievements: We successfully created an aesthetically pleasing environment that met all installation goals, resulting in a space that employees will love for years to come. The project aimed to enhance the customer experience by providing functional and rewarding furniture in every area, ensuring that each piece contributes to the overall comfort and efficiency of the workspace. Our design reflects the company’s culture, emphasizing the importance of a cohesive and inspiring environment. By carefully selecting and arranging furniture, we created a space that not only looks great but also fosters a positive and productive atmosphere, aligning perfectly with the client’s vision for a dynamic and supportive workplace.

To expedite construction and ensure future adaptability, we installed 2,965 linear feet of Steelcase Everwall Demountable walls. Every detail of this project reflects our dedication to optimizing productivity and collaboration on a grand scale, tailored to our clients’ evolving needs.
Achievements: Through collaboration with a visionary customer, we achieved significant milestones in workplace transformation. The goal was to create an inviting destination for employees to reconnect and thrive, transitioning from traditional cubicles to a vibrant, open space filled with natural light. Integrating amenities like quiet rooms, game areas, and “git and go” coffee zones helped attract and retain talent while promoting cross-departmental collaboration. Our focus on improving ergonomics with height-adjustable desks and Steelcase Leap chairs to further enhanced employee well-being. The result is a successful transformation that exceeds expectations, setting a new standard for engaging and modern office environments.

Achievements: In 2023, Imprint Architects relocated to a newly designed 3,666-square-foot office in Uptown Ankeny, contributing to the revitalization of the area. The building includes 14,121 square feet of additional leasable space, reflecting the firm’s investment in community development. The office was thoughtfully designed to support a growing team of 10, with collaborative workstations, private and shared meeting spaces, and a lounge for informal discussions. The inclusion of abundant natural light enhances the workspace, creating an environment that inspires creativity and productivity. Description: The Cassia Harmony Gardens campus boasts a variety of living spaces including 14 Assisted Living units, 70 Assisted Living/Independent Living units, 12 Care Suites, 48 Skilled Nursing facilities, and 16 Transitional Care units. Our goal was to craft a faith-based neighborhood environment where residents could access a wealth of amenities, ensuring they feel truly at home.
Achievements: Our dedicated team curated an all-inclusive FF&E package which covers resident room furniture, common spaces, a chapel, salon, office and outdoor furniture, captivating artwork, elegant accessories, window treatments and distinctive signage. Despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 era, we tackled the project via remote means. Utilizing platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom, we were able to efficiently drive communication and decision-making with minimal face-to-face meetings.

Achievements: Our team collaborated closely with the faculty and staff, working alongside passionate advocates for student education to create an environment that inspires. We played a pivotal role in transforming the district’s new middle school into a place both students and faculty are proud to call their own. Through the seamless integration of architectural elements with the FF&E package, we delivered a cohesive, well-designed space. Prioritizing the needs of the faculty, we provided versatile, creative furniture solutions that foster collaboration and support a wide range of teaching and learning styles.
